Private Berber Village treks
Minimum of 2 Adults required for private treks. Children under 10 years old can join private treks for 50% of the Adult price. 1 child aged under 5 years old can participate for free.
Shared Berber village treks 2 days
We have a selection of dates for Berber village treks. The shared treks enable you to join an existing group. We operate the shared Berber village treks on set days each month. If you don’t find the date that you require, you can ask us to start a new shared trek for the date that you require.
The shared Berber village treks offer you the opportunity to join a group and join the trek at the discounted group rates.

The Berber village treks have a 2 days duration.
About your guide: Houssine, originally from a Berber area, he worked as a muleteer for a long time with individuals and groups. In 2000 he graduated from the Royal Moroccan Federation of Skiing of and Mountaineering.’ In addition to his experience and knowledge in the Atlas Mountain, this diploma qualified him as a Mountain Guide, able to organize trips of all kinds around the Kingdom of Morocco for walkers & non-walkers. Houssine aims to introduce his own Berber culture to his customers as an old culture in the North Africa.
Starting points: Marrakech or Imlil

After breakfast, Your guide will meet you at your location in Marrakech and transfer you to Imlil. we set out today towards the east ; journeying up winding mule tracks to the tizi n’ tamaterte (2279m) to enjoy the amazing panorama of the surrounding atlas mountain range peaks and valleys on our way to our Lunch spot on the tizi n’tamaterte , overlooking jbel oukaimeden and the beautiful encircled plateau. After lunch set of following the path down to imnane valley until we reach our gite d’etape in wanskra village. 5 hours walking.
After breakfast , we set off down the assif imnane valley, passing through several berber hamlets and then up to the tizi n ageursiwal (2000m). Once through the col we shall now go down more winding mule tracks leading to the village of aguersiwal (lunch spot ). After lunch, we set off in river bed of Imlil , allow another hour to get up the valley to imlil. 6 hours walking. At the end of the day, you will be transferred back to your location in Marrakech.
