Private 5 day Berber village trek
Minimum of 2 Adults required for private treks. Children under 10 years old can join private treks for 50% of the Adult price. 1 child aged under 5 years old can participate for free.
Shared 5 day Berber village trek
We have a selection of dates for 5 day shared Berber village treks The shared treks enable you to join an existing group. We operate the shared Berber village treks on set days each month. If you don’t find the date that you require, you can ask us to start a new shared trek for the date that you require.
The shared Berber village treks offer you the opportunity to join a group and join the trek at the discounted group rates.
The prices depend upon how many people also book the same date:
A minimum of 2 people are required for a shared 5 day Berber village trek to operate on each date.
2 or 3 people participating:250.00 Euro per person
4 people participating: 220.00 Euro per person
5 to 12 people participating: 200.00 Euro per person.
You pay the total amount of the trek cost when you make your reservation. In the event that we do not achieve a minimum of 2 people on the same date, you will then recieve a full refund instantly.
If more people book the shared 5 day Berber village trek for the same date, then you will recieve a discount. The difference between the amount that you have paid and the discount amount is paid to you automatically when you have completed your activity.

A hike amidst cool vegetation of juniper and pine trees is a perfect way to rejuvenate your mind and body. Lets Go Trekking in Morocco across deep gorges, gushing river streams and groves of cherry and walnut trees, as your guide takes you on a great walk up and down the beautiful hills.
The valleys are home to tiny hamlets and villages of the ethnic Berbers, a herding and farming community. Visit their homes and interact with them to know more about their traditions and customs. See their terraced fields of corn and barley and get a glimpse of their day to day living.
Transfer from the airport or from your hotel in Marrakech to Imlil. From Imlil (1740m) we walk to Tacheddirt (2300m) via Tizi ‘n Tamatert (2279m) pass. We spend the night in a local gite. In summer it is also possible to spend the night in tents.
Approx. 4 hours walking.
Today we walk from Tacheddirt to Imsker (1300m) down the Imnane valley crossing the following Berber villages: Ounskra, Tamguiste ,Ikkis, Amssakrou and Arg. We spend the night in a local gite or in tents.
Imsker (1300m) to Tizi Oussem (1900m) via Tizi ‘n Lbour (1500m) pass, ait ali valley, Tizi ‘n Tacht pass (2000m), Ait Aissa village (Azzaden valley). You spend the night in Tizi Oussem in a local gite.
Tizi Oussem (1900m) to Imlil (1740m) via Ighouliden Waterfalls (2400m) and Tizi Mzik pass (2450m. From here we walk back to Imlil. Night in guesthouse in Imlil.
After breakfast, We shall stop at Aroumd to visit this rather singular village in the Assif Aït Mizane Valley, built seemingly house upon house on a large moraine spur, overlooking ancient irrigated terraced fields of barley, corn and vegetables and always surrounded by almond and walnut trees. We thence carry on for another Half an Hour to get to our lunch wish will be served among a Berber familly in the village of achayn prior to setting off back down the other side of the valley back to Imlil and our return trip to Marrakech.
